Three temples to be renovated
Three websites of archaeological importance in Baglung are to be renovated. The Department of Archaeology is to renovate the Sansarkot, Bhairavsthan temple and Ganesh temple.
The three sites placed in Baglung municipality stay a spiritual visitor vacation spot in the district. The Bhairavsthan temple is located in ward no. 12, the Ganesh temple in ward no. three and the Sansarkot at ward no. 7. Budget has also been obtained to renovate the palace vicinity in Sansarkot, according to Mayor Janak Raj Poudel.
It is but to be decided whether or not the Department or the municipality will take cost of the renovation work. In the modern fiscal year, a budget of Rs. 7 million has been allotted for the renovation work in the three spiritual sites. The price range will be expanded subsequent year, considering the nation of renovation and progress, stated Sabita Neupane of the Department.
Meanwhile, the municipality is setting up a trekking route to the Sansarkot.
