Koshi medical clinic gets RNA extraction gear
The Biratnagar city has given over an RNA extraction machine for COVID-19 testing to the Koshi medical clinic. Civic chairman of the city Bhim Parajuli gave over the machine to seat of the emergency clinic the board council Mahesh Bhattarai at a capacity held here on Friday.
The hardware was bought with gifts from the private segment, various associations and people at the expense of 3.2 million rupees. The gear will help complete the trial of COVID-19 immediately, said clinical director of the emergency clinic Dr Chuman Lal Das.
With the activity of the machine, the swab tests of 1,500 individuals can be tried in 24 hours. Prior, the region had given a PCR testing machine to the clinic. Civic chairman Parajuli said that the new machine will permit the individuals to get their reports for COVID-19 testing rapidly.
